Windows help?
All right, all you Windows-proficient types out there, can somebody help me?

I use Alt-Tab to switch between applications. Recently, I noticed my company's new applications, when minimized, did not drop to the bottom of the Alt-Tab stack; instead, they dropped only one position. Today all my applications are doing that.

If I minimized an application, I wanted it to drop to the bottom of the Alt-Tab stack. I wouldn't have bothered to minimize it otherwise! So: is there some setting, tweak, regedit, fix, anything to restore the functionality I want back?

My many thanks to anyone who can help me with this.

I don't have an answer, but I'm posting so you don't feel ignored.

(I will note that I use the TweakUI PowerToy from Microsoft, which inter alia makes alt-tab a lot more visual. I also have an AutoHotKey script that lets me jump to a particular application via the keyboard regardless of its position in the alt-tab cycle.)

I do thank you for the response!

I grabbed that PowerToy and another from Microsoft, and I'll install it when I next have a few spare minutes to see if it helps. Thanks!
