One of my two strays is being very stubborn about showing up at a time when I can take him to the vet. I will get him there eventually, though, so I need a name for him.

The local rescue woman named him "Morris MM" for Petfinder. He's ... not a Morris.

He's also not a "Maurice", violetcheetah.

So what to call him? I could live with Charlie but it's not something I automatically think is just right for him. Sammy? Alphonse? Pancho?

He's orange, young, very sweet, stubborn. Pictures are here.

Any suggestions? No promises I'll take anything, but someone might come up with something that just seems to fit, so it's worth the try.
