Friending/subscription ... thingy
So apparently LJ has added some goofy-looking crossposting "feature" to increase traffic from Facebook and Twitter, and that has a lot of folks concerned privacy-wise. (I'd certainly be annoyed by their screwing up tab order for posting, but I learned long ago not to trust tab order on LJ anyway.) I'm not on either service; I can barely keep up with LJ/DW, and my brain can't cope with the multi-site thing (which is why my LJ is drowning in RSS feeds), so I won't be exposing anyone that way. (I'm also not thrilled with Facebook's privacy issues; LJ is bad enough.)

Anyway, my point is that I'm also on Dreamwidth, with the same username, and anyone who would prefer to subscribe to or friend me over there instead or in addition may certainly feel welcome. (I don't always reciprocate; if I don't, it's generally not personal but rather a matter of trying to keep my reading list from entirely exploding.)

[If you're reading this at DW, pretend the above talked about "here" rather than "there". Heh.]

I also have several DW invite codes, if anyone is motivated by this latest LJ "upgrade" to try them out; if you want one, just drop me an email address to send it to.
